# Sales and Appointments Reports

> Analyze the sales and appointments in your CRM, and see which were driven by Hatch.

The Sales and Appointments dashboards in [Legacy Reporting](/getting-started/reporting/legacy-reporting) show the revenue and bookings sitting in your CRM, and separate out the portion Hatch communication is responsible for.

## Sales

Use this dashboard to analyze the **count** and **total value** of sales within your organization's CRM.

* A sale is **attributed** to Hatch communication if it meets specific criteria for campaign timing (see [Attributed vs. total](#attributed-vs-total) below).
* A sale is included in **overall sale totals** if it is reflected as a sale in the CRM within the given filter parameters.

You can examine sale patterns by **campaign**, **workspace**, and **data source**, and download a full list of attributed sales in a variety of formats for further analysis.

**Common questions answered by sales reports:**

* What campaigns are providing the best ROI?
* What lead sources are resulting in sales?
* Which sales reps are emerging as top performers?

## Appointments

Use this dashboard to analyze the **count** of appointments within your organization's CRM.

* A booked appointment is **attributed** to Hatch communication if it meets specific criteria for campaign timing.
* An appointment is included in **overall appointment totals** if it is reflected in the CRM within the given filter parameters.

You can examine scheduled appointments by **campaign**, **workspace**, and **data source**, and download a full list of attributed appointments for further analysis.

**Common questions answered by appointment reports:**

* What campaigns are resulting in the most scheduled appointments?
* What lead sources result in customers booking an appointment?

## Attributed vs. total

Total sale and appointment figures reflect **all** sales or appointments in your CRM within the given filter parameters. The attributed figures are narrower — they're the ones Hatch can demonstrate it drove.

## Before these reports will populate

Sales and appointments are recorded based on fields and values inside **your** CRM, so Hatch needs to know which fields to read. If these dashboards are blank, that configuration is usually the reason.

See [Attribution Settings](/how-to-use-hatch/reporting-settings/attribution-settings) to set the fields, and work with your Account Manager to confirm:

* The field names and values that indicate the date a sale is made, and the statuses that indicate a sale
* The field names and values that indicate the date an appointment is set, and the statuses that indicate a scheduled appointment

Changes are processed nightly and populate at the start of the following day.
