# ActiveProspect

> ActiveProspect is a lead aggregator and lead optimization platform that delivers qualified leads to home services businesses. Below is a description of the process on how to properly get them connected.

#### How it Works

ActiveProspect delivers leads into Hatch via webhook. Once setup is complete, ActiveProspect sends new leads to Hatch, and Hatch
creates a Contact and Opportunity record, which can be launched into a Speed to Lead campaign. Leads flow one-way (ActiveProspect → Hatch).

At minimum, the lead's full name is captured (required). Email address is captured when present.

#### **Setup Instructions**

When you connect ActiveProspect from the App Marketplace, Hatch walks you through a guided **Setup Tracker** that automates
the third-party coordination for you. Clicking *Connect* on the ActiveProspect card will configure your workspace and contact
ActiveProspect on your behalf.

The Setup Tracker has four steps:

1. **Configure Hatch** — Hatch automatically creates the workspace items you need (audience, campaign, workflow)
   wired to the ActiveProspect lead source. Review what was created and click *Next Step*.

2. **Request Setup** — Hatch automatically sends a setup request email to ActiveProspect's implementation team
   asking them to begin delivering your leads. You
   can review the exact *To*, *CC*, and message body that Hatch sent. Click *Next Step* to continue.

3. **Receive Leads** — Hatch waits for the first lead to arrive. This step shows you a live status:
   * When ActiveProspect opens the setup request email, the read receipt is recorded (a tooltip notes that read status may
     be inaccurate if ActiveProspect blocks read receipts).
   * **After 24 hours**, a *Send Follow-Up Email* button becomes available if you haven't received leads yet.
   * This step will not complete until leads with a source value of **`integration:active-prospect`** have been received.

4. **Confirm Leads** — Once leads start arriving, the tracker shows the incoming opportunities. Click *Complete Setup* to
   finish.

After completing the tracker, set up your audience and campaign workflow (if needed beyond what Hatch auto-created) to launch
your ActiveProspect leads into a Speed to Lead campaign.

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Do I need to email ActiveProspect myself?">
    No. The Setup Tracker sends the request email to ActiveProspect's implementation team automatically when you start the
    connection. You'll be able to review exactly what was sent inside the tracker's *Request Setup* step.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="ActiveProspect hasn't responded yet — what should I do?">
    The *Receive Leads* step shows you whether ActiveProspect has opened our setup email. If 24 hours have passed and leads
    still haven't started flowing, the tracker enables a *Send Follow-Up Email* button so you can nudge them directly. Read receipts may not always be reliable if their mail system blocks them, so the follow-up is the most reliable signal.

  <Accordion title="What lead fields does Hatch capture from ActiveProspect?">
    Hatch captures the lead's full name (required) and email address (when provided) from each ActiveProspect lead. If you
    need additional fields parsed or mapped, reach out to our support team and we can review what's possible.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can Hatch send a reply or status update back to ActiveProspect?">
    No. The integration is one-way (ActiveProspect → Hatch). All outreach to the lead happens through your Speed to Lead campaign in Hatch.
